This project was about creating a cassette tape design for an experimental singer. He’s an artist who produces his own music using only his voice. His lyrics are based on random words that he samples to create an experimental experience for the listeners.
For this design, I chose to work with his lyrics as the main content. I transcribed the lyrics from one of his songs and used them to create a random pattern of words that takes up more or less space, in order to recreate the idea of sampled sounds, with volumes that feel irregular and unsystematic. I used a blurred color gradient to symbolize the unexpected and abstract side of his music.
